Classes of fire
1. CLASS A: Solid combustible material such as paper, wood, carpet, clothes, etc….Smoke from this fire is generally white
2. CLASS B: Liquid combustible materials such as fuel oil, grease, gasoline, alcohol, etc…..Smokefrom this fire is generally dark.
3. CLASS C: Energized electrical equipment such as computers, pumps, televisions, etc…From thisfire you may see sparks.
4. CLASS D: Involves Combustible metals such as aluminum, sodium, potassium and titanium.
5. CLASS F: Involves vegetable oils, animal’s oils or fat in cooking appliances…such as deep       fat fryers.

Fire Extinguishers
1. DRY CHEMICAL: Recognizable by the shape of its nozzle, it is very small  - To be used on A-B-CClass of Fire 
2. CO2 (Carbon Dioxide): Recognizable by the shape of its nozzle, it is much bigger than the other - To be used on B-CClass of Fire
3. WET CHEMICAL: Recognizable by the fact that it will be shape of its nozzle, it is much bigger than the other and it is the best application for the deep fat fryers -    To be used on “F” Class of Fire

Actions to be taken in case of fire
SMALL FIRE: Such as a little garbage bin, a small pan, electronic device….Try to fight the fire as quick as you can using the proper fire extinguisher.
LARGE FIRE: Such as deep fat fryers, cooking appliances, extraction ducts, largegarbage bins, big machines, etc…
1. Call the fire force by dialing 101.
2. Immediately evacuate the area.
3. Cut off the power and the ventilation by pressing the emergency stop buttons.
4. Activate the Hi-Fog system or any fixed extinguisher system that covers the area
5. Close the the doors or fire screen doors if any.
6. Wait in a safe area for the fire force team.
